Marriage is the only war in which you sleep with the enemy.
Francois, Duc de La Rochefoucauld
I think good old Frank has a point.
Because we are so very close to the ones that we love, we begin to fight with them more than others. We don't mean to hurt them, but fighting becomes part of the relationship. It should not be this way.
In life we resist and fight back when we see a problem. It is one of the ways in which we solve problems.
But when we fight with our loved ones, we must be fighting to save our relationships.
Otherwise, we are most assuredly fighting to end them.
